01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to “remember” certain information between requests, for example, that you are signed in. In legal terms, similar technologies that access data stored on your terminal equipment count as cookies too.

02The cookies we use

We use strictly necessary technical cookies only. An ordinary visitor will generally never encounter them. They are created only after signing in to the content administration interface, which is reserved for the site administrator.

Administration sign-in
Authentication cookies maintain the administrator's signed-in session in the /admin area. They are created only after sign-in. Storage: for the duration of the session, at most one year, or until sign-out.
Security and abuse protection
Technical request identifiers used by the hosting infrastructure. Stored only for as long as it takes to process the request.

03What you will not find here

We think it is worth stating what we do not do, because these are exactly the technologies that make cookie banners necessary on most websites:

  • 01No analytics tools. The site runs no Google Analytics or any other measurement system.
  • 02No advertising or remarketing pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads and the like).
  • 03No profiling cookies and no cross-site tracking.
  • 04No embedded maps, videos or social media buttons that would send data to third parties.
  • 05No external fonts. Every typeface is served from our own server, so your browser contacts no third-party servers when you visit.

04Why there is no cookie banner

Under Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications, consent is not required for cookies whose sole purpose is to transmit a message or to provide a service that the user has explicitly requested. Since we use only such strictly necessary cookies, there is no reason to ask for your consent, so we spare you a banner that would change nothing.

Should we ever deploy analytics or marketing tools, we will obtain your demonstrable consent beforehand and update this document.

05Managing cookies

You can restrict or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, or delete cookies already stored. The settings are usually found under Privacy or Site settings:

  • 01Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • 02Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • 03Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • 04Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking cookies has no effect on the public part of this website. It will, however, prevent signing in to the administration interface.
